John W. Little
Attorney John Little has represented businesses, entrepreneurs, investors, property owners, and individuals throughout Michigan for more than 25 years. His practice focuses on serving as outside general counsel to businesses of all sizes while providing experienced representation in business law, commercial and residential real estate transactions, and complex civil litigation.
Mr. Little understands that successful businesses need more than a lawyer to call when problems arise—they need a trusted legal advisor who helps identify risks, solve problems, and seize opportunities before they become costly. He works closely with business owners on entity formation, governance, contracts, commercial transactions, employment matters, business acquisitions and sales, risk management, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution, providing practical legal advice tailored to each client's goals.
His real estate practice encompasses virtually every stage of property ownership and investment. Mr. Little represents buyers, sellers, investors, developers, landlords, tenants, and lenders in residential and commercial transactions, including purchase and sale agreements, commercial leasing, title and boundary issues, easements, quiet title actions, land contracts, FSBO (For Sale By Owner) transactions, deed preparation, closings, surplus proceeds claims, foreclosure-related matters, and other real estate disputes. He works proactively to protect clients from costly mistakes while ensuring transactions are completed efficiently and with confidence.
When litigation cannot be avoided, Mr. Little is an experienced advocate who has successfully protected and recovered millions of dollars in business and real estate assets for his clients. He has represented clients in complex contract disputes, business ownership conflicts, commercial litigation, real estate litigation, and foreclosure-related matters, always with a focus on achieving practical and cost-effective results.
Whether serving as ongoing outside general counsel, negotiating a significant transaction, guiding a business through growth, or protecting a client's real estate investment, Mr. Little is committed to delivering responsive, strategic, and results-oriented legal counsel. His philosophy is simple: provide practical advice, prevent legal problems whenever possible, and vigorously protect clients' businesses, investments, and property when disputes arise.
